✨ What a Great Quarterly Session Looks Like
Since this week I’m attending three separate Quarterly Sessions, I thought it was the perfect time to share what really makes one great.
It doesn’t happen by chance.
It’s the result of preparation, clarity, and trust within the leadership team.
Here’s what it should look like:
✅ Clear Data – The Scorecard tells the truth. Wins and challenges are visible, and everyone knows where the business stands.
✅ Open & Honest Conversations – No tiptoeing around issues. The team is willing to have the real conversations (no scared cows or chasing squirrels)
✅ Focused Rocks – You walk away with clear priorities that move the business forward.
✅ Accountability Review – Each person owns their seat, knows their metrics, and reports progress with confidence.
✅ Re-energized Team – The group leaves aligned, re-focused, and ready to execute, not exhausted or confused.
I’ve seen teams turn a quarterly from a check-the-box meeting into the most energizing day of their quarter, simply by slowing down to work on the business, not just in it.
If your last quarterly felt more like a marathon of updates than a strategic reset, it might be time to revisit your structure.
