Enterprise AI isn’t about hype, it’s about operations.
I loved this podcast because it highlights something I see every day working with law firms:
AI doesn’t fail because of the technology.
It fails because there’s no structure around it.
The firms getting real value from AI aren’t trying to be “AI-first.”
They’re focused on solving real operational problems:
→ Reducing low-value admin
→ Improving intake and client experience
→ Speeding up billing and cash flow
→ Giving attorneys more time in their zone of genius
And it always comes back to the same things:
Clear leadership support
Defined priorities
Governance (yes, even for AI)
The most interesting shift?
We’re moving toward teams that manage both people and digital workers.
That’s not a future problem; it's happening now.
The firms that win won’t be the ones using the most AI tools…
They’ll be the ones using AI intentionally within a strong operating system. Having a "Hackathon" like Candy suggests is genius, pulling teams together to find best use cases for AI.
Clarity first. Always.
